Transport Routes

Getting around Sta Rosa is not really that  hard, the road are mostly straight to  one destination, the national highway at least. Like most cities in the Philippines, Sta. Rosa is also full of alternate routes and roads, but I’m not gonna talk about that. The aim of this blog is to bring you closer to the places in Sta. rosa and most of them are along the highway which is where I’m gonna start.

There are a lot of ways to enter Sta. Rosa, click here to know them

From Binan, you can enter Sta. Rosa directly through the national highway. The road will fork straight away, on the left will lead to Rizal Blvd. road which goes deep into Sta Rosa.
To the right is the continuation of the national highway which goes through a couple of malls before getting to Balibago. Both roads will lead to Balibago although taking the national highway will be faster.

Balibago Complex is a terminal, it is where most buses and jeepneys go through other than SLEX(South Luzon Express Way). Jeeps and trics that come and go through Balibago don’t go through Sta Rosa all the way, you will need to find another ride to continue to the heart of Sta. Rosa. Jeepney is the best way to go since it’s cheap and fast and efficient, but trics are also an option. Its just that it has a maximum of 7 passengers and sometimes you have to wait for other passengers to join you before the tric leaves if its non-special. If you wanna go to places that are not along the highway, it is recommended to ride a jeepney first then get a tric nearest to the place where you are going because it will be much cheaper than going by tric all the way.
